2 Indians, Zulfiqar Ahmed Khan Missing In Kenya Might Have Been Kidnapped In Support Of President Ruto
News coming from New Delhi has indicated that Former media house executive Zulfiqar Ahmed Khan,with his fellow Indian Mohammad Zaid Sami Kidwai and a Kenyan taxi driver Nicodemus Mwania have been missing since 24 July.
Official sources told an Indian outlet that New Delhi, India has taken up the case seriously with Nairobi, but a response from the latter from Kenyan Embassy was yet to arrive.
Khan and the fellow were IT experts and they were last seen in a nightclub in Westlands together with their driver, Nairobi on July 23rd night. That was from cctv footage that they were last sported at the joint which they left at 11:53pm.
On Twitter Khans friend, Kishi Arora said:
Heartbroken to hear my friend @zakzulfi , Ex SVP Star TV & COO of Balaji missing for over 70 days from Kenya. No concrete response from Kenyan embassy. Request GOI to take this up strongly and bring him home.
According to the Star, Mohamed Zaid Sami Kidwai, Zulfiqar Ahmed Khan and Nicodemus Mwania are suspected to have been abducted near the Ole Sereni area in mid-July and driven away in an unmarked car,”
Their car is said to have been packed besides the road with engine still running and car doors open near Ole Sereni area. The family lawyer said his clients were kidnapped by men beloved to be police officers.
The Nairobi Internal Affair Unit was order to investigate on the matter and give their findings within 21 days but ever since, no reports have been issued with Kenyan Embassy dumb on the matter. The executive last social media post dated back to a Masai Mara trip on 21 July.
Zulfiqar Ahmed Khan is yet to be found but hopes still void.
