Exclusive! Jupiter Planet will be its closest to Earth since 1963!
So ever experienced this before? Well, maybe not if you are a 20s-born baby. If you have maybe we can call you our forefathers or mothers since this incredible thing happened decades ago.
Tomorrow, an incredibly rare, once-in-a-lifetime astronomical event is happening! Jupiter will be its closest to Earth since 1963! Along with opposition, it’ll be SO bright, you’ll be able to see its bands and some moons just with binoculars!
This is expected not to happen anytime soon as claimed by scientists but guess what they have predicted? This will only happen again in the year 2129!
This has caused discussions online and let’s take a look at what people had to say.

The fact that its opposition lined up perfectly with this event is beautiful
For those of you who don’t know, opposition means a planet is on the opposite side of Earth from the Sun, so you could draw a straight line from the sun to Earth to the planet, all in alignment.
She went ahead and added that Jupiter’s opposition happens every 13 months, but since its orbit is every 12 years, it takes MUCH longer for it to reach its closest position to Earth, so these events lining up in our lifetime are very rare!!
I encourage EVERYONE to take advantage of this opportunity!
Another commented on her opinion:
Jupiter and Earth both have elliptical, not circular, orbits. Sometimes a bit nearer the Sun, sometimes a bit further away. I guess this ‘closest opposition’ is when Earth is at its furthest from the Sun and Jupiter at its nearest, as they reach the Sun-Earth – Jupiter line up.
