Lizzo Cries On Live IG, Addresseses Racist And Body Shaming Comments As Cardi B Fiercely Defends Her.
American rapper, song writer and Singer Lizzo broke down in a live Instagram after receiving weird comments of racism and body shaming comments from fans.
This was after their collaboration rumours with Cardi B was released. The hit music video was dropped last Friday. And the costumes dressed by the goddesses was a wow. But guess what, some fans could not go without dropping their trash on Lizzo’s wall.
The rapper took to her instagram wall to share with her fans the beautiful moments. But it was not what she was expecting, she received several attacks from fans, from trolls, racist comments and very dirty remarks for her body, she was very overwhelmed that she broke down.
She said quote, “i just think that when im this hard, my tolerance gets lower. I’m more sensitive, and it gets to me.” Preciously in a just deleted video, she said she was not making music for anybody, and that she is just a black woman making music.
Lizzo said that the comments she received were so weird from the post because they were too much of racist. She is now on the lead in taking negativity to positivity on female artists especially on balck people in the States. Lizzo is aware that nomatter how much positive energy you try to put out there, there are people who will come to stab your back.
She said on her twitter page quote, “Loving yourself in a world that don’t love u back takes
an incredible amount of self awareness & a bdetector that can see through as backwards societal
standards…if u managed to love yourself today l’m proud of u.Ifu haven’t, I’m still proud of u. This s hard. ”
Many fans, including celebrities were quick to come to defend Lizzo including Cardi B, she said quot, “when you stand up for yourself they claim you’re problematic and sensitive. When yoy dont they tear you apart until you’re crying like this. Whether you’re skinny, big, platistic, they’re going to always put their insecurity on you. Remember this are nerds looking at the popular table.”
Cardi then went on to dismiss the trolls on the song and she said quote,” rumours are doing great. Stop trying to say the song is floppong to dismiss a woman emotions on bullying or acting like they need sympathy. This song is top 10 on all platforms. Body shaming and calling her mummy is mean and racist as f***”
Lizzo’s live crying shows how negative comments on people has impacts even to celebrities. She told fans to spread kindness.
